Sewage removal services in Treharris – Framework Lead

The current contract for Sewage removal services in Treharris is projected to end on 6/2/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Sewage removal services in Treharris included the provision of an inter-works sludge haulage service, to include the provision of both a sewage tanker and a driver.The framework agreement will cover the transportation of liquid sewage sludge on an ad hoc, emergency, out of hours and short term basis i.e. covering the sludge transfers that cannot be fulfilled by the DCC tanker fleet.The requirement for this service is largely reactive and is generally needed during peak times such as holiday periods, treatment centre failures and sewage pumping station repairs.The framework agreement awarded will be for an initial 2 year period, with options to extend for two further 2 year periods, at the sole discretion of DCC.
