Telford Homes acquires London development for £30.2m
Hertfordshire-based residential property developer Telford Homes has exchanged contracts to purchase the London Electricity Board Building in the borough of Tower Hamlets for £30.2m.The 0.94-acre site is located in the heart of Bethnal Green on Cambridge Heath Road. Telford Homes, which purchased the building from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, has proposed to create “much needed” homes with an element of commercial space.The expected gross development value of the scheme is approximately £95m and, subject to planning consent, the group expects to commence work on site in 2018 with completion anticipated in 2021.
