Millennium Point unveils plans to upgrade events space
Birmingham’s Millennium Point has unveiled plans to invest in a new dedicated events space to support its commercial offer.Called CONNECT, the new facility will be located on Level 2 of the Eastside venue. It will consist of three meeting rooms and a seminar space, which can either be booked individually or as an entire events suite with multiple rooms and breakout spaces catering for up to 100 delegates.The CONNECT meeting rooms will have the ability to be opened up to create one large boardroom space, while the biggest space – the CONNECT seminar room – will be able host up to 100 delegates theatre style, 40 cabaret and 56 banqueting style.Millennium Point’s existing multi-purpose events space, the Platform, will be upgraded to enhance its current offering, which includes a built-in bar counter, lounge area and digital signage solutions. Birmingham-based contractor, ADI Group, has been appointed to carry out the work which aims to be completed by June.
