No 1 spinningfields to become new “statement building”
The £73m No 1 Spinningfields scheme is set to become a new “statement building” for Manchester’s commercial district and represents the final piece of the area’s masterplan, Allied London chief executive Michael Ingall has told Insider after the development passed a key construction milestone.No 1 Spinningfields will introduce 260,000 sq ft of grade A office accommodation as well as new retail and leisure space to Manchester city centre when it completes in the autumn of 2017. Construction of the 24-storey Quay Street development has now reached its uppermost point.
