Bucks contractor wins railway station scheme
A Buckinghamshire-based contractor has been appointed to work on the development of a new railway station in Worcestershire.The Worcestershire Parkway Regional Interchange Station was given the green light by the Department for Transport (DfT) last month. It will be located at Norton and will create a hub with bus, road and cycle routes.Buckingham Group Contracting has been hired to bring the development forward as part of a design and build deal. The company will work alongside SLC Rail, which is project managing the scheme on behalf of Worcestershire County Council.
