Permission granted for new homes in Pity Me
County Durham Housing Group has secured application to build six two-bed and two three-bed “affordable” homes at Folly Terrace in Pity Me.The new properties will be available for “affordable” rent and are intended to contribute towards the group’s ambition to develop much needed homes across the county.Work is now underway to appoint a building contractor for the scheme, it said.Building works are expected to get underway this spring, with an early 2018 target date set for overall completion.
