Dyson to build multimillion-pound R&D hub
Billionaire inventor Sir James Dyson has revealed plans to build a new 517-acre research and development centre on a former Ministry of Defence site in Wiltshire as part of a multimillion-pound investment.The boss of the vacuum and electronics giant said the new facility would be at Hullavington, close to Dyson’s Malmesbury headquarters.It forms part of the company’s plans to invest £2.5bn into future technologies and the doubling of its workforce to about 7,000 over the next six years.
