4. Description: The awarding authority is seeking expressions of interest from providers of health apps and online platforms for diabetes prevention.
Healthier You: The awarding authority is developing an evidence base to establish the feasibility and effectiveness of digital behaviour change interventions to support people to reduce their risk of Type 2 Diabetes.
The awarding authority is looking to identify four or five apps or online platforms which have already launched or will be available within the next three months to be part of a digital pilot. The aim is to provide digital interventions to individuals at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes across England.
The programme will initially evaluate both the implementation of the digital interventions and the outcomes for individuals who will be accessing them across parts of England.
Providers and developers of existing health apps and online platforms aimed at reducing this risk are being invited to submit their products for consideration to take part in this exciting opportunity.
