Our aim is to create a unified power engineering laboratory. This new teaching facility is required for Under Graduate and MSc students and will continue to fulfil our Instituted of Engineering Technology (IET) accreditation requirements.
This acquisition will include complimentary well-established laboratories educational experimental material which individually provides for the study of electrical machines and energy conversion, for power electronics and electric drives, for power systems, and for fault analysis.

Coventry University has incorporated a 10 calendar day standstill period following the date the award of the framework was communicated to tenderers. This period allowed unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract was entered into.
If any appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2016 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months). Where a contract has not been entered into the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages.
