The current contract for Boilers in Aylesbury is projected to end on 2/4/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Boilers in Aylesbury included a framework of one supplier to deliver the following services:Package 1 – Biomass ProgrammeFull design, supply, transportation, off-loading, installation, project management, commissioning, regular operational assistance, training and planned and reactive maintenance for 6 self-contained biomass plantrooms of the different sizes and configurations, with integral wood pellet stores and 3 non-containerised biomass boilers with different sizes and configurations to be installed in to existing plantrooms including the conversion of existing oil stores to pellet stores. The contract includes the integration of the biomass systems to the existing heating systems to facilitate the supply of renewable heat.Package 2 – Black Park Biomass ProgrammeFull design, supply, transportation, off-loading, installation, project management, commissioning, regular operational assistance, training and planned and reactive maintenance for two self-contained biomass plantrooms of the different sizes and configurations, with separate wood chip stores to provide renewable heat to multiple properties via two mini district heating network. The contract includes the district heating manifold, metering and internal pipework for each property.Package 3 – Potential future requirementsPotential future requirements for the design, supply, transportation, off-loading, project management, commissioning, planned and reactive maintenance and operative training for self-contained biomass plantrooms of various sizes and configurations, and in certain circumstances for the supply of individual items of associated plant, for the provision of ‘renewable heat’ at various sites.With the exception of Packages 1 and 2, it is the intention of Bucks CC to commission the integration of the containerised biomass plant room through a separate contract.
