Events company expands with £1.27m funding deal
A company which has organised large-scale events for the likes of the BBC, BMW, Specsavers, Bentley, has secured a £1.27m funding package to expand its Bristol headquarters.The investment from NatWest Commercial Banking and Lombard Technology Finance has enabled SXS Event Production to take full-ownership of Bonville Trading Estate after its existing headquarters on the site reached capacity.Johnny Palmer, owner and managing director of the company, has acquired adjacent warehouse space at the trading estate to drive growth of the event business.SXS Event Production employs 20 staff with an annual turnover of about £2m. Palmer also oversees a property worth about £2m which he manages under the name of Autonomous Investments Portfolio.
