AFBI carries out high technology research and development, statutory, analytical, and diagnostic testing functions for DARD and other Government departments, public bodies and commercial companies. AFBI are currently seeking to purchase feed intake plus water intake monitoring and behaviour equipment to be located in the beef accommodation. The systems must be suitable for a range of livestock ages/weights and allow the assessment of individual forage or total mixed feed ration intakes.
