Former Winchester office snapped up
A four-storey period building in the heart of Winchester has been bought by Landmark Estates, which plans to redevelop the property into luxury apartments.Hughes Ellard, the independent commercial property consultancy, sold the grade II-listed period property at 3 Chesil Street on behalf of Sovereign Housing Association.Pennyfarthing House, totalling more than 3,600 sq ft of space, was previously used as offices.Landmark Estates has recently secured planning permission to redevelop Pennyfarthing House into four luxury apartments and a “sympathetic conversion” has now started.
