Styles&Wood hails £15.9m contract awards
Styles&Wood has hailed the award of three new commercial property contracts in Manchester city centre, which are worth a total of £15.9m.The contracts comprise a £9.5m refurbishment project at 67-75 Mosley Street, a £3.7m office-to-residential conversion at St Ann’s Square, and a £2.7m fit-out at the 288,000 sq ft One St Peter’s Square commercial scheme.Boultbee Brooks Real Estate has appointed the property services provider to reconfigure two buildings on Mosley Street into a single 64,000 sq ft office building. The scheme, which is being project managed by OBI Property, includes an extension to create a seventh floor and the construction of a six-storey glazed link between the two buildings.Meanwhile, global real estate firm Deka Immobilien has instructed Styles&Wood to fit out 75,000 sq ft over four floors of One St Peter’s Square into an open-plan suite. The work, which is scheduled to complete in the summer of 2017, marks the third project that Styles&Wood has been awarded at One St Peter’s Square having previously carried out fit-outs for tenants DLA Piper and Addleshaw Goddard.Lastly, Styles&Wood will work with DTZ Investors to undertake an office-to-residential conversion to create 21 apartments at 12 St Ann’s Square above the St Ann’s Arcade.
