Green light for Newcastle trampoline park
Plans for a North East leisure company to transform a vacant property on a Newcastle industrial estate into a job-creating trampoline park have been approved.Funshack launched its Jump 360 venture in Stockton in 2015 having previously opened a large-scale children’s play centre at Portrack Interchange Park.As part of its expansion plans, the business submitted an application in December last year to transform three adjoining units at Benfield Business Park in Newcastle into a combination of its two flagship schemes on Teesside – representing an investment of £2.5m.The 69,000 sq ft development would comprise a Jump 360 trampoline park and Indoor Adventure Playgound.About 80 jobs would be created across the entire development.
