Futures Housing Group to deliver housing scheme in former colliery village in Derbyshire
Futures Housing Group has signed off on a £2.5 million contract to deliver 24 homes in a former colliery village in Derbyshire.The housing provider, is using funding from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and working with Partner Construction Ltd on the development in Stonebroom.North East Derbyshire District Council has granted planning permission for 24 two- and three- bedroom affordable homes.Rykneld Homes will build a further six properties on the site, which will be available for sale.Work is scheduled to start in May, with the first residents scheduled to move in during March 2018.Once complete the development will comprise seven, two-bedroom bungalows, 19 two-bedroom homes and four three-bedroom homes.
