Lovell appointed to Bridgend affordable housing scheme
Housing developer Lovell has been appointed to build 48 affordable homes on the site of a former football ground in Bridgend.The company has been selected by Hafod Housing to the £5.4m design-and-build scheme, which is being developed in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council.The new housing will be built on the former Bridgend Town AFC football ground off Coychurch Road, located south-east of the town centre.The development will comprise 24 one- and two-bedroom flats; a three-bedroom bungalow and 23 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses. It has received Welsh Government funding in the form of Social Housing Grant and Housing Finance Grant.
