900 tonnes of fresh snow coming to Chill Factore
Chill Factore, the leisure attraction located near the Trafford Centre in Greater Manchester, is set to invest £500,000 into a major upgrade that includes introducing approximately 900 tonnes of fresh snow. The project involves the complete renovation of its Changing Village and the installation of fresh snow on its 180-metre slope. The Changing Village will be transformed into a “state-of-the-art environment, complete with a whole new layout” that is designed to reduce congestion and improve the guest experience by making it quicker and easier for visitors to collect equipment and head out for lessons. The four-stage project includes the installation of a new rentals desk. A full redesign, including new flooring, will be fitted while the Changing Village remains fully operational.Meanwhile, the slope will undergo maintenance work to replace existing snow on the slop with approximately 900 tonnes of fresh snow. This will be completed in stages to ensure that the slope remains open as normal. The renovations are expected to continue until Friday, 7 July 2017.
