Lloyds provides £45m council package
Lloyds Bank has provided Birmingham City Council with a £45m facility that it expected to be used to fund the construction of more housing in the city.The package, from a single institutional investor, will be funded in three tranches of £15m, maturing after 18, 20 and 24 years respectively.The cash will go toward diversifying funding to the private sector, which will most likely support property developers.
