Green light for £25m Mansfield housing scheme
Planning permission has been granted for the first homes at a multimillion-pound urban extension project in Berry Hill, Mansfield.Nottingham-based Avant Homes is leading the £25m development of the 95 properties, which will include a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.The 418-acre urban extension project will comprise 1,700 houses, a new community park, primary school and healthcare centre once complete.Work is expected to begin on site in autumn and the first homes will be ready for occupation in spring 2018.In April, Avant Homes received the green light to build 173 homes in Newark, which also forms part of an urban extension project.
