Designs unveiled for new Nottingham bus station and car park
The draft designs for the new Broadmarsh car park and bus station in Nottingham have been unveiled.The documents were shown at the city council’s planning committee and a formal application is set to be lodged before the end of the year.The demolition of the current car park is expected to start next month (July 2017).The plan also includes commercial spaces and the potential for residential accommodation on the upper levels.It added that a “safer, modern” bus station will replace the existing facility and will aim to encourage a further reduction in car use in the city centre.
