Approval nears for housing scheme
Plans to build a 56-strong housing scheme in County Durham look set to be approved.Keepmoat is behind the application, which is earmarked for land to the south of Palmer Road in Dipton.A version of the application has been lodged with Durham County Council since April 2013, when it was presented as a proposal for 54 homes and subsequently approved.Durham County Council has been recommended to approve the scheme at its meeting today (27 July).
