Keepmoat picked for Tamworth council house scheme
Keepmoat has been named as developer for a scheme to build 152 new council-owned homes in Tamworth.The £21.5m regeneration project is the biggest house-building programme undertaken by Tamworth Borough Council since the 1970s.It will see 136 houses, bungalows, flats and maisonettes being replaced with 152 new homes.The job of designing and building the new housing estates at Tinkers Green in Wilnecote and the Kerria Centre in Amington has been awarded to housing and community regeneration specialist, Keepmoat Regeneration, subject to contract.The Tinkers Green estate has already been completed. The 100 properties will be replaced with 108 and an upgraded play area.
