A pipeline has been launched for Diabetes education serviceThe contract start Date is 11 November 2017. Approach to market date is 09 August 2017PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE This is a prior information notice with future call for competition for provision of a diabetes education service. NHS Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), on behalf of West Leicestershire CCG and East Leicestershire & Rutland CCG is considering the procurement of a Diabetes Structured Education service for a small cohort of patients. Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland (LLR) CCGs are looking for provider(s) to deliver two elements through two separate lots:making available tailored services for diabetic women planning on becoming pregnant;developing a course for patients under the age of 18 years with type 2 diabetesThe provider(s) will be expected to:develop a diabetes education courseundertake patient and service user engagementcommence running the face to face education (either through one to one or group education)Estimated value for both lots is circa £200k for six months.
