A pipeline has been launched for Research on the contribution of EEA workers to Cornwall’s economy and public servicesThe contract start Date is 11 September 2017. Approach to market date is 11 August 2017Cornwall Council and the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly LEP are seeking to commission a research project on the contribution of (non-UK) European Economic Area (EEA) workers to Cornwall’s economy and public services. This research will be used to respond to the Migration Advisory Committee’s call for evidence, published on 4th August 2017, on EEA workers in the UK labour market.The opportunity will be competed via Bloom Procurement Services and interested parties are invited to register with them by visiting www.bloom.services and emailing shinde@cornwall.gov.ukThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
