Green light for £12m leisure scheme
A £12m leisure development including a cinema, shops and restaurants is set to be built in Haverfordwest after planning consent was granted for the scheme.Fairacre Property, supported by Montagu Evans, originally submitted plans in November 2016. Pembrokeshire County Council has now given the green light for the project.The scheme comprises 15,100 sq ft of leisure space with four restaurants and shops at ground floor level and a five-screen cinema on the first floor. Fairacre has secured REEL Cinemas to run the cinema.Proposals also cover the improvement of public space in the town centre, including the widening of the riverside walkway, with additional seating, as well as landscaping and a covered bicycle storage area.
