Green light for £90m Ascot hospital
Plans to create a new £90m hospital in Ascot have been given the thumbs up.Heatherwood Hospital will be transformed under the plans led by Frimley health NHS Foundation Trust.The project includes the construction of a new facility on greenbelt land next to the current hospital, while the older building will be demolished to make way for up to 250 homes. The changes are part of a wider scheme to improve services across the trust.The new hospital was designed by the Bristol-based team at BDP Architects.
