A pipeline has been launched for Floating Support Service.The contract start Date is 01 October 2017. Approach to market date is 01 June 2021.Wirral Council is seeking proposals for two separate lots from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Floating Support services: LOT1: Homeless Prevention & Resettlement LOT2: Mental Health Any tenderers that wish to deliver both lots only should state this clearly in their submission. In Wirral, the Supported Housing Programme funds, monitors, reviews and commissions housing-related support services which are high quality, strategically relevant, cost effective and reliable. The aim of housing-related support services is, through the provision of support, to: Enable vulnerable people to increase or maintain their independence. Prevent people from becoming homeless. Meet the needs of people who have experienced homelessness. Meet the needs of people who may be threatened with homelessness, in the absence of housing-related support. Assist individuals to maintain their tenancy and accommodation.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
