Multimillion-pound Plymouth office refurb nearing completion
The refurbishment of a Plymouth building to create 32,000 sq ft of new office accommodation is on schedule to complete early next year.The building, formerly known as St Andrew’s Court, has been renamed as The Merchant to reflect its proximity to the historic Merchant’s House.The Notte Street property is also on target for a rating of A on its energy performance certificate (EPC), making it one of the most energy-efficient refurbished office building in the city.JLL, Stratton Creber Commercial and Vickery Holman are marketing the scheme for let. The refurbishment is being led by Developing London Group.The Merchant will feature a collaborative communal area overlooking a landscaped courtyard as well as a new reception area. It will open onto Notte Street, with a new piazza providing access to the historic Barbican and city centre.
