Plans to develop a grade A office building at the heart of Darlington have been revealed. The scheme is the next phase of development at Feethams and closely follows Darlington Borough Council’s work on the Feethams leisure complex, Department of Education (DfE) building and Business Central.Dubbed Feethams House, the new 30,000 sq ft site could be completed as soon as the autumn of 2019 and would occupy a former car park.It would also have the potential to bring up to 300 new jobs to the town’s economy, with the scheme targeting inward investment from corporate occupiers and grow-on space for SMEs.The scheme is to be marketed by Connect Property North East, together with Cushman & Wakefield.
