Short description of the contract or purchase(s): South Ayrshire Council is seeking to develop a Framework Agreement for the supply of private sector accommodation. Accommodation sources through the Framework Agreement will be used to temporarily accommodate those people in need of emergency accommodation of those considered to be statutorily homeless, which the Council has an obligation to assist.
The Council wishes to develop a Framework Agreement for Service Users based on a range of suitability criteria associated with the accommodation (physical and safety standards, cost, and the proximity of community services). During routine operations, it would then be the Councils intention to refer to the framework contracting procedures.
