United Kingdom-Newport: Wood fuels – Framework Lead
The current contract for Wood fuels – Framework Lead is projected to end on 27-NOV-18 and may be available for retender. Supply of Biomass Wood Pellets.
Wood fuels. Fuel wood. The ONS has two Endress USF-W Biomass Boilers which use Wood Pellet. The boilers are fed from two 30 tonne capacity wood silos. The product to be supplied is an ENPlus A1 6mm pellet that must conform to the industry standard EN14961. The heating season runs from the 1st October to the 30th April. Historic consumption figures indicate that we use 500-600 tonnes of pellet per annum, 70-85 tonne per month dependent upon weather conditions.
