Euston Area (Granby Terrace Bridge)
Supply and design of bearings based on a provided bearing schedule (approximately 19 x guided pot bearings and 1 x fixed bearings)
Supply of all materials associated with bearing installation, including but not limited to hold down bolts/ bolt cluster/ chemical anchorage, packing shims, any required bearing grout and any applicable bearing grease
Supply of all labour and material associated with the installation of bearings
Installation of bearings which includes the installation of all supplied materials where appropriate (if connection is via bolt cluster this will be done by others)
Provision to produce a temporary works design to enable the installation of temporary jacks/stools, install jacking equipment to enable landing the bridge beams onto temporary jacks and support during bridge construction and to remove jacking equipment post bridge construction and transfer load to the permeant bearings
Provision to supply labour, plant and materials required to conduct the activities associated with the above temporary works.
Provision for an additional mobilisation to reset bearings at a nominated time once certain construction activities have been completed
Provision to provide a recommended Operational and Maintenance Spare Parts List (including insurance spares)

About the buyer’s selection process:
In review & selection of potential bidders to receive an Invitation to Tender for the works package, awarding authority will base the decision on a range of factors – Previous relevant experience, Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, EDI, Ethical Sourcing, Company financial standing, Registration on Achilles Building Confidence.
If shortlisted, a further PQQ will be sent which contains project specific questions & evidence to be provided. This will assess capacity, capability, sustainability, equality, diversity & inclusion and environment and legacy requirements. Suppliers will also have to sign and return the Clients’ Non Disclosure Agreement as part of the PQQ process.
Following PQQ process selected suppliers will be invited to Tender. Please note that the assessment of tenders will be based on a balanced set of evaluation criteria. awarding authority is not bound to accept the lowest price in selecting the successful tender for award.

High Speed 2 is a planned high-speed railway in the United Kingdom linking London, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leeds and Manchester. The Enabling Works Contracts which have been awarded cover the whole of Phase One, from London to Birmingham.
For the Enabling Works phase, 3 joint ventures have been appointed of which the awarding authority has been awarded Area South, which covers the length of the planned route from London Euston out to the M25.
Under the contract awarding authority will deliver a range of activities within this geographical area including utility diversions, ecology surveys, demolition, ground remediation, watercourse activities, highways realignments, monitoring and instrumentation, structural reinforcements archaeology, site clearance as well as establishing site compounds.
