Battery storage facility gains planning approval
Planning permission for a battery storage facility in Cottingham near Hull has been granted.Energy storage system developer Harmony Energy Storage has secured permission from East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Planning Committee for the construction of a 49.5MW battery storage facility.The new facility would incorporate a total of 17 battery units and will be built on a two-acre site on land adjacent to Creyke Beck substation in Cottingham near Hull.Harmony Energy focuses on building, owning and operating a portfolio of assets across the UK.The business was advised by Carter Jonas’ infrastructure and energy team,
