II.1) Scope of the procurement
II.1.1) Title: Framework for the Supply and Delivery of Virgin Wood Pellets to ISO17225-2 Enplus A1 Standard or Equivalent Wood Pellet Standard

II.1.4) Short Description: This framework is for the supply and delivery of Virgin Wood Pellets to ISO17225-2 – Enplus A1 Standard or Equivalent Standard to various end-user sites within the County of Durham. The highest ranking provider in the league table of 3, with due regard to capacity, financial limitations and available resources, will be awarded all of the business in Year 1 of the framework. If the highest ranking provider is unable to supply or fail to carry out the contract as per the specification, the requirement on that particular occasion will be offered to the 2nd place provider and so on. However, the 1st ranked bidder will always be offered the business first. All ranked bidder(s) will be subject to a mini price competition in Year 2 to refresh their places on the framework and this will be repeated for Years 3 and 4.
