Muirhouse regeneration project in Edinburgh gets another step closer to completion
Springfield properties has completed a further 25 affordable homes at its Muirhouse development in Edinburgh for housing association Dunedin Canmore.The mix of one bedroom cottage flats and two bedroom terrace homes is part of a larger £23m development that is close to completion, with 153 of the 202 planned homes now occupied. The aim is to revitalise the Muirhouse and Pennywel area with a mix of new housing.The latest batch of homes for Dunedin Canmore – part of the Wheatley Group – are highly energy efficient, meeting silver sustainability standards to keep running costs low. Each is also equipped with a smart energy meter.
