United Kingdom-Chelmsford: Miscellaneous health services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Miscellaneous health services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 27-DEC-18 and may be available for retender. Care in a Residential Setting (with or without Nursing).
Care in a residential setting with or without nursing within the county of Essex
This will be a framework agreement
-The Framework Agreement for Lot 1 (Residential Care) will be commissioned by ECC on the basis of ECC’s standard terms and conditions (operating a Preferred Supplier ranked list ) and the ISP for each service user will be the call-off contract;
-The Framework Agreement for Lot 2 (Nursing Care) will be commissioned by Essex County Council on the basis of ECC’s standard terms and conditions (operating a Preferred supplier ranked list) and the ISP for each service user will be the call-off contract.
-The Framework Agreement for Lot 3 (NHS funded care ) will be commissioned by the CCGs on the NHS terms and conditions (and the patient will get the choice of all providers who are able to meet their needs) and the ISP for each patient will be the call-off contract.
This includes Social Care requirements for residents over the age of 65 and those with enduring mental health needs. Patients of all ages who are eligible for NHS funded Care
The commissioning objectives are to:
-Commission a residential and nursing provision that is safe, of high quality, sustainable, innovative and able to meet future demand and deliver qualitative outcomes;
-Ensure standardised specifications and quality criteria are in place for all homes in Essex, managed through a robust supplier relationship and contract management approach;
-Deliver Better Patient/Customer experience – right solutions, at the right time, in the right environment.
