Plans in for 119-home HCA Wetherby development
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) has submitted plans for a 119-home housing development in Wetherby.The houses and a community hall are lined up for 13.5 acres of land off Walton Road in Thorp Arch, Wetherby.The site currently sits empty though the western boundary along Grange Avenue was the location of former Royal Ordnance Factory managers’ cottages which were demolished in the 20th century.To be in keeping with the local village of Thorp Arch and Walton the new houses are expected to predominantly be two storeys in height.The proposed community hall is anticipated to cover 2,690 sq ft and be either one or two storeys in height.
