Nine-lane bowling alley planned for Liverpool city centre
Liverpool city centre could be about to get a bowling alley if new plans are given the go-ahead.D2 Investment Ltd wants to redevelop a car park into a new facility featuring ten-pin bowling and a bar and restaurant.Plans submitted to Liverpool City Council for a change of use of the Duke Street site from car park to bowling alley also include pool tables, table tennis, shuffleboard and a karaoke room.If approved, the bowling alley would become the first to open in Liverpool city centre and the second in the city in total alongside Hollywood Bowl at Liverpool Shopping Park.Proposals for the leisure scheme have been drawn up by Liverpool-based architectural practice Snook Architects. The firm has worked on a number of projects across the city including McCooley’s in Concert Square and Blind Tiger on Seel Street.
