Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Hampshire County Council (“The Council”) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Decoration and Minor Pre-Decoration Repair Works. The Council undertakes a large and varied programme of work involving maintenance, new build, rationalisation and refurbishment of the County Council’s and its client’s built estate.The main areas of activity in relation to this procurement will comprise individual projects or programmes of external and internal decoration works and pre-decoration repairs including associated masonry, joinery and window repair work and other minor repairs.
Projects could arise from (but not exclusively) any mix of the following public authority facilities:
– schools,
– libraries,
– civic offices,
– care homes,
– headquarters buildings,
– social services properties,
– museums,
– sport and leisure facilities,
– Fire Authority buildings,
– Hampshire Constabulary buildings.
It is envisaged that the primary user of the arrangement will be The Council, although work may be undertaken by other public bodies as detailed in this Contract Notice.
The requirements will be split into 2 lots as detailed in this Notice, it is envisaged that a maximum of 5 providers will be appointed to each lot. Bidders may only apply for inclusion on one lot.
