Pipeline Framework: Provision of Waste and Recycling Services

A pipeline has been launched for Provision of Waste and Recycling ServicesThe contract start Date is 01 July 2018. Approach to market date is 16 April 2018The Bristol & Weston Procurement Consortium (BWPC), acting on behalf of the North Bristol NHS Trust, the University of Hospital Bristol Trust and The Weston Area Healthcare Trust (the Commissioners) will be commencing a tender for the provision of Waste and Recycling Services. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners’ intention.The 3 Trusts, through the BWPC, are currently looking to establish single or various providers of clinical, non-clinical and confidential waste collection and recycling services for the numerous facilities from which they operate throughout the Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare area.The BWPC will be undertaking an information event in the form of a Market Day prior to the issue of an SQ/ITT – it is anticipated that these events will take place in April or May 2018.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
