The current contract for Transport equipment and auxiliary products to transportation – Framework Lead is projected to end on 12-FEB-19 and may be available for retender. The Provision and Management of Pool Car Vehicles.
The contract is for the supply, maintenance and operation of pool cars. Initially there will be 18 vehicles. The cars will operate from Gateshead Council bases located at the Civic Centre, Regent Street, Gateshead (16 vehicles) and Shearlegs Road, Gateshead (2 vehicles). The Council will review the demand for pool cars on a 6 monthly basis and may require the supplier to increase or decrease the number of vehicles supplied and change the locations where they are based at these review points. Cars based at Gateshead Civic Centre must be available as a car club for the community and staff outside of the core hours.
