New £33m swimming pool complex approved
Derby’s new £33m swimming pool complex has taken a significant step forward after being granted planning permission.The proposal approved by the authority’s planning committee includes a 50m ten-lane pool, learner pool, leisure water, sauna and steam, gym, exercise studios, soft play and multi-use rooms.Construction is set to start on the Moorways site later this year with the complex scheduled to open in 2020.
