146-home development poised for approval
Plans for 146 new homes at the site of a school in Exeter are poised for the green light after planners recommended them for approval.Exeter City Council’s planning committee will meet to discuss the plans.The 8.3-acre site is on land at the Exeter Royal Academy For Deaf Education (eRADE).As well as homes, the development will also include a 68-bed care home and 61 assisted living units and accommodation for a pre-school.The application comes from eRADE, Acorn Property Group and Castleoak Care Developments with the site becoming available due to the relocation of eRADE to a purpose-built facility on the site of the former Rolle College in Exmouth.
