Wirral Waters developer outlines office block proposals
Plans for a £6m office block have been submitted by the developer behind Wirral Waters.Peel Land and Property’s application has earmarked land at Tower Road for the three-storey scheme, which would be geared towards Wirral’s small business community.The ground floor would include an incubator facility for the region’s entrepreneurial sector, while the two upper floors would feature grade A accommodation throughout six suites.It has been designed by architecture practice Glenn Howells, who also designed the £10.5m Wirral Metropolitan College building next door.Ian Steele, director of GVA, commercial agents for Wirral Waters, believes there is a “clear need for quality new build space”.The project is being supported by a grant from Liverpool City Region’s Single Investment Fund and has the backing of Wirral Council.
