£7m hub to create flexible study space
Postgraduate students are set to benefit from a new dedicated study centre.The University is investing £7m in the Old Kirk Postgraduate Centre on Holyrood Road.It will serve as a central hub where postgraduate students from across the University can meet, collaborate and study.The centre on Holyrood Road will provide postgraduate research students from all three Colleges with new areas for formal and informal study.It will offer postgraduate students bookable spaces for events, conferences and group work.The centre – which will be managed by postgraduate students – will also enable the University’s growing number of Doctoral Training Programmes and Doctoral Training Centres to interact with the postgraduate student community.
