Work starts on £100m Aura scheme
Work on the £100m Aura project in Liverpool has started.Elliot Group is behind the project, which will comprise 142 one- and two-bedroom homes and more than 1,000 student housing units built on the former Erskine Industrial Estate.The mixed-use development will also include the construction of key worker and student accommodation for hospital staff working at the new £450m Royal Hospital next door, as well as new homes for student nurses and doctors.The Falconer Chester Hall-designed development will boast facilities including yoga studios, a residents’ gym, a bar and study zones. It is being built by Forrest Construction and will rise to 14 storeys at its highest point.
