A pipeline has been launched for Provision of Taxi Services to County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust.The contract start Date is 01 October 2018. Approach to market date is 01 June 2018.Market Engagement Notice:County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust currently provide a sustainable taxi and courier service for the conveyance of patients including wheelchair users and children who are eligible for hospital transport, together with staff, and light goods for both routine and ad hoc requirements. The services required are to provide a 24 hour service every day during the contract period (Sundays and Bank Holidays included) and the service provided must be promptly executed. Taxis are booked for essential Trust business only and some bookings shall involve work which is essential to the wellbeing and lives of the patients.
