Green light for Longton scheme
Plans for a housing development in Longton have been given the green light.Lancashire planning consultancy De Pol Associates, acting on behalf of a private landowner, was behind the application which is earmarked for a site previously used as a riding school. It still houses an arena, stables, offices and 40-space car park, all which are to be demolished.In their place, nine homes will be built.The site, which has not operated as a riding school for a number of years, is to be marketed by Georgina Cox from Moving Works.
