United Kingdom-London: Radiotherapy devices and supplies – Framework Lead

The current contract for Radiotherapy devices and supplies – Framework Lead is projected to end on 14-APR-19 and may be available for retender. Provision of Brachytherapy Seeds and Equipment.
Prostrate Brachytherapy is carried out at Barts Health NHS Trust using a one-stop technique with individual Iodine 125 seeds being loaded into the patient using a Mick Applicator. Localisation is carried out using transrectal ultrasound (BK ProFocus) and a Civco Stepper. Treatment Planning is provided by Variseed (Varian Medical Systems). This tender will be for the supply of a new prostate brachytherapy stepper and ultrasound machine together with iodine seeds compatible with that system of delivery and maintenance support of all associated equipment. This contract will be for an initial period of 3 years with 2 possible extensions of 1 year each. Hence it is a 3+1+1 contract with a duration of 5 years maximum.
